Normandy

Why Normandy?

Normandy is a vast and rich region that combines stately historic cities with idyllic landscapes. Different periods of history have each left their mark on the region, a legacy still evident today in Normandy's many famous landmarks. From breathtaking cliffs and fine sandy beaches to cities with buildings that seem to hail from another era, and of course, D-Day itself, there's so much to see and do in Normandy.

Why Mustangtours?

                                                                                                                                     Something for everyone!

We don't claim to offer specific options, such as the best or most comprehensive selection. We believe there are plenty of people, and therefore plenty of different needs. We can meet a wide range of needs in a fun way. If you prefer hiking or cycling holidays, or prefer being driven around with a larger group in a private van, that's perfectly fine too. We just can't offer that, just like other organizations can't offer you an unparalleled, relaxing tour in a Mustang convertible.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 As we said: Something for everyone!

D-Day

Impressive and unforgettable

D-Day in Normandy remains one of the most impressive chapters in American and world history.

Every year, millions of visitors travel to this coastal region to visit the iconic landing beaches, the museums, and the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer. Here, amidst white crosses and views of Omaha Beach, the Allies' immense willingness to sacrifice becomes tangible.

As a guide, I take visitors to places where history and landscape intersect, and where the stories of June 6, 1944, are still palpable.

Iconic & Charming

Bayeux

is a charming historic city in Normandy, famous for the world-famous Bayeux Tapestry, which depicts the Norman conquest of England in 1066. The city was quickly liberated after D-Day and today boasts an impressive British War Cemetery and War Museum honoring the heroic deeds of World War II. The magnificent Notre-Dame Cathedral, built in the Romanesque-Gothic style, makes Bayeux an ideal base for exploring both medieval history and D-Day sites.

Mont Saint-Michel

The iconic Mont Saint-Michel, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a symbol of spirituality and architectural ingenuity. With an annual visitor count of some 2.7 million, it attracts the third largest influx of visitors among French monuments, after the Eiffel Tower and Versailles. As an American tourist, you can wander through the narrow medieval streets, climb to the abbey, and be repeatedly overwhelmed by the interplay of light, stone, and tide—a moment of reflection and admiration.
